This Privacy Policy explains how Taskbar Fayren ("the Game", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you play the Game on the web, PC or Android.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account with a username and password, we store your username and a securely hashed password (we never store the password in plain text). When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's email address, name and Google user ID.
• Game data. Your character, progress, inventory, in-game currency and leaderboard ranking, so your progress is saved and synchronized across your devices.
• Technical data. Basic data needed to operate the service, such as the IP address of requests (used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention).

2. How we use your information

• To create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
• To save and sync your game progress and show leaderboards.
• To protect the service against fraud, cheating and abuse.

3. Sign in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, we use Google's authentication only to identify your account. We request basic profile information (email, name, account ID). We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. Google's handling of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the Game (e.g. Google for sign-in) or to comply with the law. Your username, character name and class may appear publicly on in-game leaderboards.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and game data while your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below; we will remove your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Children

The Game is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
